Our Policy
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the data controller is The Postnatal Coach, with an address at Delta Sports Dome, Delta Retail Park, Ballysimon Road, Ireland.

What personal information we need

Through our website we only collect basic personal information about you which does not include any sensitive types of information or location-based information. This does, however, include your name and email address. We do ask you to fill out a pre-screening form prior to taking our classes, which may contain sensitive information related to your maternal health. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

Why we need your personal information

We need to know your basic personal information in order to provide you with the best possible service, to communicate with you and to process payments on our site. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service. All information collected on our pre-screening form is analysed by your coach in order to provide you with the best possible programme in the safest manner. We also capture aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve the services on our website.

What we do with your personal information

All the personal information we process is processed by your coach. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so. Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

How long we keep your personal information

If you subscribe to our mailing list, or register for any of our programmes we will retain your basic personal information for communication purposes. This information will be retained by us until such time you notify us that you no longer wish to receive further communication. Information provided by you in our pre-screening form will not be retained for longer than is necessary to provide you with the best possible service.

What are your rights?

You have rights under Irish Data Protection legislation, with regard to our processing of your data. You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting us via email at sara.howard@me.com.

If you have an registered on this site, or registered for one of our programmes you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. We will ask you to verify your identity before responding to any such requests.

Security Of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
